Management Committee
Fyne Homes is governed by a voluntary Board who are responsible for the strategic leadership and direction of the Association who work closely with the senior management team to achieve these aims. Being part of our Board is an excellent opportunity to be involved in making a real difference to the communities we serve. There are a maximum of 12 members who are elected by the membership at the Association's Annual General Meeting.
We recognise the importance of good governance to protect the interests of our tenants and residents as well as people we hope to help in the future. The Association is registered with the Scottish Housing Regulator and we recognise our responsibility to meet the standards the Regulator expects. Further information on the standards housing associations are expected to meet in regard to governance and financial management can be found at https://www.scottishhousingregulator.gov.uk/
Serving as a Committee member is both interesting and worthwhile. We welcome applications from people of all ages and backgrounds, you don’t need to be a housing specialist to join. Whilst having knowledge and experience in areas such as housing, finance, governance, business operations, human resources and development would be really useful, they are not essential requirements. Both internal and external guidance and support will be provided to familiarise yourself with the day to day running of the Association and to assist in the making of important decisions which affect the communities in which we operate.
