Established in 2016, Fyne energy owns and operates a three-turbine onshore wind farm at Auchadaduie near Glenbarr in south Kintyre. Collectively the turbines generate 6.9MW of electricity for export to the National Grid, with 100% of surplus income reinvested for community benefit.
The revenue is distributed in line with the Community Distribution Agreement, with two thirds allocated to Fyne Homes and one third to the Glenbarr Community Development Association.
