David joined the Management Committee in 2018. He was elected as the Vice Chairperson in October 2023 having previously served as Company Secretary. David also serves as Board Director of Fyne Initiatives.
David resides in Bute and is a retired chartered surveyor where is skills iuncluded property appraisal and valuation, rental purchase and development.
David also works with a number of local organisations including Ferries Communities Board, Scottish Island Federation, Bute Shinty Club, Beachwatch Bute. With some of these being charities his role with them involves governance, compliance with charity law and financial management.
