Safe at Home in Scotland

Safe at Home in Scotland:

About SafeLives
We are SafeLives, the UK-wide charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse, for everyone and for good.

We work with organisations in Scotland to transform the response to domestic abuse. We listen to survivors, putting their voices at the heart of our thinking. We look at the whole picture for each individual and family to get the right help at the right time to make families everywhere safe and well. And we challenge perpetrators to change, asking ‘why doesn't he stop?

About this consultation
This is a very difficult and challenging time across Scotland with uncertainty around the corner. Many of us have been isolated in our homes. For some of us home is not a safe place. We want to understand what you feel, and what you need, as we move out of lockdown and into the 'new normal'. The information you share here will be used to inform Scottish Government and other stakeholders what victims and survivors of domestic abuse need over the coming months, and therefore what domestic abuse services need to best support them.

Who it is aimed at
This consultation is designed to understand the experiences of adults who are currently experiencing domestic abuse, and who live in Scotland.  We would be grateful if you could take 10 minutes to share your experience at a time that is safe to do so. All your answers are anonymous and can't be traced back to you

How to complete it Use the 'Next' button at the bottom of each page. If you want to go back to a previous page click 'Back'. You can click the 'Exit' button at the bottom of each page if you need to. You don't have to answer any questions that you don't want to. Once you have finished, a 'Submit' button will appear on the bottom of the page. Please ensure you click this button in order to send us your answers.
