St Andrews Day
The Nostalgia Café held a special St Andrews Day celebration on Thursday 30th November.
Over 20 tenants and their friends popped along for a cuppa, cheese and oatcakes, cakes and biscuits and to have a blether with other tenants.
The day included Scottish music and film of Rothesay in bygone days and a Highland Dancing display from pupils of the Anne McIlroy School of Dance and The Speirs School of Highland Dancing. The dancers performed many dances including the sword dance, the Scottish Lilt, the real, the sailor’s hornpipe and the highland fling.
The audience enjoyed the display and special thanks goes to Amber, Eilidh, Harry, Iona, Jessica, Molli e-Mae and Summer for putting on a fantastic dancing display.
The Nostalgia Café wishes all its patrons a Merry Christmas and will see you in the New Year.
Fyne Homes are holding a number of festive events throughout December. Please see your own area poster for more details.
